11+ LUNCH CLUB• assessing skills • reviewing verbal reasoning techniques • how to approach questions/papers Format: Lunch-time club. 4 x 30min sessions over 4 weeks. Students: Appropriate only for students who wish to sit the 11+ exam in 2010 or 2011. These sessions are by invitation only. Students nominated by school. Ready, Steady…READ!Aim: In conjunction with Usborne Books we organise a simple sponsored reading challenge that helps you promote literacy in the classroom, introduce the importance of reading at home to parents AND get FREE BOOKS for school.Students: Children are sponsored to read as much as they can in a given time. Whether it’s in school time, at home, during the school holidays or in a 24 hour race, children of all ages can spend any amount of time reading to raise funds for books. Format: We will arrange the entire event and can provide sponsorship forms, reading logs personalised to your school,certificates acknowledging each child’s personal achievement, bookmarks, bookplates and even an explanatory letter to parents, asking for their support.
